Jours soixante-sept et soixante-huit

...began with another one of those vraiment belle sunrises out my window.
And then Allyson's birthday! She was led on a scavenger hunt all over Paris. Shae and I's post was at the carousel by Hotel de Ville, and although it poured and poured the entire day, we still had fun waiting for her to come, gave her the next clue, and eventually ended up at the last stop, Madame's apartment. We made the most delicious pasta, had cake and ice cream, and then proceeded to have one of our favorite nights yet.
It started with stupid human tricks, which resulted in few injuries, but ultimately some pretty impressive maneuvers. Some examples:
Mar and I with the birthday girl, stripe overwhelmed.
As we were all about to leave, a talent show suddenly broke out as a result of me forcing Martha to do her animal noises. One by one, we were all forced up to perform our silliest talents. The human jump rope, opera, the Charleston, Madame's disappearing tooth pick, twangy southern, old english, and Indian accents were some of the acts that graced our stage.
Let's just say, after that, every jaw hurt from laughing so hard, and we were all a thousand times more comfortable with each other than ever (maybe too comfortable). Unforgettable.

The following Sunday was right up there on the charts as well, the best church service yet with the Primary Program and just talking with everybody after, and then coming home to a really nice quiet afternoon. Happy happy.

A demain,

b
