Jour cinquante-huit
...began the weekend where everyone was either in Italy or Ireland and a few of us stayed to party in Paris.
We started with a walk through the 16th Arrondisement (where all the "almost too rich" people live) to Musée Marmotton where many of Monet's water lily and other works are displayed. And then to Trocadero, to see the eiffel from a new angle and take a cheesy tourist pic.
Then we went to the Panthéon, originally built by King Louis XV for St. Genevieve, and became the final resting place of many famous Parisians: Voltaire, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola our some of the few.
