Jour cinquante-trois

...began at the Salon du Chocolat (as if we needed more chocolate!) Which means the dresses below are made of exactly what you think they're made of...
The Salon is an annual week long event where chocolate makers from everywhere join together in exhibition to show off their glorious chocolate talent. They do demonstrations, concerts, and even a chocolate fashion show. Incroyable!
Free samples of every sort of chocolate you can imagine made for a delicious morning!
We all bundled up and headed for an afternoon at Luxembourg, still our favorite place.
Children were renting little boats to race around the fountains and we all enjoyed just watching, laughing, and being together.
Then it was time for our weekly "fete" at Madame's, but this time, to celebrate Halloween. We made croques monsieurs (fancy grilled-cheese) and then made these most delectable treats:
Caramel apples have never tasted so good!
We finished off the day off with Hitchcock's "Spellbound", very content with our own Parisian Halloween!

A demain,

b
