Jour soixante

...began with the usual Samedi matin marché, despite the rain.
Each Saturday, we stock up on our essentials for the week at the market. Or favorite fruit stand recognizes "the American girls" now and gives us free clementine slices before we buy 4 golden delicious and 2 gala apples. We always get our favorite artisan baguette from the same girl for 1.25 and exactly 3 tomatoes from 3 old ladies who sell their vegetables across from the fish vendors, so we have to move quickly, because they chop the heads off right before your eyes, and it always smells too fishy over there.
So we have to stop and smell the roses.Garcon du jour:
I wished I could take this little one home with me!
It rained all day today. Poured and poured. So we had a cozy day indoors, watching old movies, napping, and making arrangements for when we have to return to real life in 28 days. We walked to Spencer's host house to make a good old fashioned hot meal together and watched "Friends" (the only english show his family owns) while eating a pan of "brownies"(the French version) and a carton of ice cream with three spoons. Shady and I walked home in a total downpour, splashing through puddles, and laughing at the situation, happy to just be.

A demain,

b

Amazing everything! Such beautiful pictures. Did you take all those? I'm thinking I need a trip to Paris. And Jordan, my kids are going to have to beat up your kids if they dress like that. ;)
