...began un peu en retard because we slept in for the first time ever. And then we had no class so we ate lunch outside L'hotel de Ville, then got nutella crepes and began a Paris Walk down the Champs Elysees. (They call this homework.)

We passed lots of very historic places, including the mansion where Napolean lived, and is now basically the French "White House" (Bonjour President Sarkozy!)

And the walk eventually ended...

In the distance behind me, you can barely see the Arc replica made only of glass which is in the financial district.


And we even went on top of it for free, because international students have all sorts of privileges comme ca. It was a breathtaking view and the way the architecture all leads to the Arc is incredible.
